TIDEN HAR SETT
ALLT.
Insomnia and the bustle of the city shape the thoughts in Nachla Libre's collection of poems Tiden har sett allt (Time has seen everything). The words are both intricate and powerful in a debut book that is both philosophical and political, mundane and magnificent. It is an eternal conversation with the night, a fight with the injustices of society, a journey between now and then and a poetic portrait of a young woman struggles in this day in age.
Release 2020.
Nachla Libre dropped her poetry collection during the Pandemic. That ment that she did not have access to her publishers spaces in the inner city to celebrate the release. Instead she did her best to host safe from COVID-19 events. To make room for as much people as possible she had one event every hour with around 10 people at the time in her apartment in a suburb in Stockholm. Together with the release of the book she also produced an exhibition with drawings she made while writing Tiden har sett allt. All the events were beautifully captured by the talented Maryam Dinar.
