ARTIST STATEMENT:
I create to survive on different levels and I always examine what feels alarming and emotionally important. I go where my curiosity about life takes me and I often try to find a language where poetry and contemporary art meet, merge and become something interesting and maybe unexpected. I work with different processes, tools and artistic mediums and I am not afraid of challenging myself and go out of my comfort zone. Reading, recording and writing down stories and observations is an integral part of my practice. In many ways I use social scientific methods and analysis to break down everyday life and try to make art of it.
